Sometimes can be referred as the Plants vs. Zombies 2, the Plants vs. Zombies 2: It's About Time is a fun, challenging, and free to play tower defense game that was developed in 2013 by PopCap Games, and was published by Electronic Arts. This game is the sequel to the popular game Plants vs. Zombie which was first released in Apple App Store in the 15th of August 2013 and was shortly released in Android or Google Play in the 23rd of October at the same year.
The game is free which is different from its predecessor that supports in-app purchases of coins for the players to use in a particular power up and other abilities such as Plant Food, a new power-up, and allows the plants to power up for a specific amount of time.
On this game, the players can complete each battle or levels, and mini-games without the need to purchase any abilities where they can earn throughout the game. Before getting straight into the game, the players can optionally skip or go through the available game tutorial which shows the heads-up or the basics of the game.
Plants vs. Zombies 2 also feature different worlds with different battles that can be purchased or win an in-game World keys to unlock additional worlds which will require specific counts of stars. As to the protagonist that every player will be facing, it uses a time machine that allows featuring some levels in different pseudo-historical settings. The protagonist also engages to the time race with the antagonist of the first Plants vs. Zombie, Dr. Zomboss, who also tries to prevent a paradox.
